There are certain professional methods by which you will be addressing the poker cards you play per stud poker rules.
? Cards A, 10, J, Q, K are known as high cards.
? Cards from 2 to 9 are known as low cards.
? Door card is used to denote the card which is being dealt face up in the board. Though this card exclusively belongs to the player holding it, the information advantage of the exposed card is more for the opponent. This is one feature which makes the stud poker game to be less complicated than the other poker variants.
? Dead card refers to the card that you were expecting to be dealt; however, the chances of getting this card is nullified because it is already on the board with the opponent player and if you were expecting it to make a hand it might be a bad luck situation for you.
? Slow play refers to a trend where you will be playing like you are under confident with your hand and this will have your opponents to think that they are stronger and they will bet more, but in reality you will be holding a better hand and you will be playing so to have them play more so that you can earn better.
? Fast play is the reverse of slow play.
